Conservation of Parks and Natural Areas that provide habitat for rare or endangered species. The Hammock Patrol Program, promotes public involvement in the maintenance, improvement and support of Miami-Dade’s County Beaches, Hammocks and Parks. There are many ways you can participate!!.
Objectives:
1) To provide opportunities for citizens to become good stewards of our environment and natural resources.
2) To educate communities about protecting natural resources and preserving the environment for future generations.
3) To provide expertise in protecting and managing protected areas and formulating broader conservation strategies.
