		The 16th annual National Public Lands Day, which brings together tens of thousands of volunteers to work on and clean up public lands,will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009. National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest hands-on volunteer effort to improve and enhance the public lands Americans enjoy. In 2008, 120,000 volunteers built trails and bridges, removed trash and invasive plants, and planted over 1.6 million trees. Join us for the 16th annual National Public Lands Day. Work Project: Pull weeds, remove dead undergrowth and invasive species. We are eager to see you there!
